Memorae accesses and uses Google Calendar data as follows:

• Reading and synchronizing calendar events to display reminders and manage events
• Creating and modifying events in your calendar when specifically requested
• Accessing calendar settings to respect your time zone and notification preferences

Your Google account data:

• Is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent
• Is only used to provide specific Memorae functionalities
• Is not sold or used for advertising purposes

We implement the following security measures to protect your Google data:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions
• Encrypted storage of access tokens
• Restricted access and two-factor authentication for technical staff
• Continuous security monitoring and regular audits
• Compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations

Google data retention policy:

• Calendar data is maintained only while your account is active
• You can revoke access to your Google account at any time from your Google account settings
• When you revoke access or delete your account, all associated Google data is automatically deleted from our systems within 30 days
• Backups are completely deleted after 90 days

Memorae requests the following specific permissions from Google:

• .auth/userinfo.email - To access your primary Google email address
• .auth/calendar.readonly - To view and download calendars you have access to
• .auth/calendar.events - To view and edit events in all your calendars

These permissions are strictly necessary to provide basic Memorae functionalities and will not be used for any other purpose. Calendar-related permissions are considered sensitive by Google and require additional verification of our application.
